Mrs. Ray Griffith, 45, dies

Mrs. Ray (Leonore B.) GRIFFITH, 45, died Sunday evening in a Mason city nursing home. She had spent most of her life in the Plymouth vicinity. Mrs. GRIFFITH was born July 29, 1916, in Cerro Gordo County, daughter of Bert and Barbara JONES. She was married to Ray GRIFFITH, Nov. 17, 1934, at Freeport, Ill.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Martin (Shirley) CHARLSON, Manly, and Mrs. R. J. (Chloe) ENNIS, Manly; a son, Gerald GRIFFITH, Plymouth, and two granddaughters.

Two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Bertha) EVERHART, Richmond, Calif., and June FAULK, Iowa Falls, and a brother, Fred JONES, address unknown, also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Major-Erickson Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Griffith's rites Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Ray (Leonore B.) GRIFFITH, 45, Manly, who died Sunday at a Mason City nursing home, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Charles BIRCHMIER, pastor of the Plymouth Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth [Oakwood] Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7:30 p.m. Wednesdy.
