Plymouth Woman Dies Of Injuries

PLYMOUTH - Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the United Methodist Church at Plymouth for Pamela A. GRAVERSEN, 18 of Plymouth, who died Friday night at a Mason City hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident about 16 miles west of Osage and three miles east of Manly Monday evening on Highway nine.

She was the second young person of the Osage area to die as a result of the accident.

Miss GRAVERSEN was a passenger in a car driven by Allen A. ANDERSON, 22, of Manly, who died earlier from the accident, when he lost control of his car and it crossed teh highway, overturned and went into a ditch.

Never Conscious

Miss GRAVERSEN was taken to St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital Mason City with head and chest injuries. She had been in the intensive car unit of the hospital and never regained consciousness. The Bride Colonial Chapel at Manly has charge of funeral arrangements and friends may call from 2 p.m. today until noon tomorrow and at the church in Plymouth prior to services.

Miss GRAVERSEN is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie GRAVERSON of Plymouth; one sister, Mrs. Bill JAMES of Cedar Falls; her maternal grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Louis MARTLE of Osage; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Soren GRAVERSON of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather.

Manly Graduate

She was graduated from Manly High school in 1971 and had been attending North Iowa Area Community college at Mason City during the past school year.

Funeral services for Mr. ANDERSON were conducted Thursday at Manly.

Another passenger in the ANDERSON car, David HOFF, 24 of Manly, was treated at a Mason City hospital for a concussion, following the accident, and was later released.

Pamela was interred at Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth, Iowa.
