Death Notices

GASTEIGER, Mrs. John, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles La ROE, 705 Jefferson avenue northwest, at 5:10 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, following an illness of 13 months. Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist church at Plymouth at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, with the Rev. F. M. GARRETT in charge. A prayer service will be held at the chapel of the McAuley and Son funeral home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, with the Rev. William GALBRETH, associate pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge. Burial will be at the Plymouth [Oakwood] cemetery. The McAuley and Son funeral home in charge.

Funeral Rites to Be Held Friday, Burial at Plymouth Cemetery

Mrs. John GASTEIGER, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles La ROE, 706 Jefferson avenue northwest, at 5:10 o'clock Wednesday afternoon following an illness of about 13 months.

Mrs. GASTEIGER was born May 19, 1867 in Bohemia. She came to the United States when 11 years of age. For 23 years she resided 4 miles northeast of Plymouth and had resided in Plymouth 29 years prior to her coming to Mason City 21 months ago.

Married 1n 1888

In November, 1888, she was married to John GASTEIGER at Plymouth. Mr. GASTEIGER preceded her in death Nov. 28, 1929.

Surviving Mrs. GASTEIGER are five daughters, Mrs. Charles La ROE and Mrs. John McNITT, Mason City, Mrs. Emery WASLCEK, Mrs. Frank VEZELA and Mrs. Frank FATICA, Plymouth,and two sons, Lloyd GASTEIGER, Mason City, and Joey GASTEIGER, Plymouth, and nine grandchildren.

Prayer Service Here

A prayer service will be held at the chapel of the McAuley and Son funeral home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, with the Rev. William GALBRETH, associate pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge.

The body will be taken overland to Plymouth where services will also be held at the First Methodist church at Plymouth at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, with the Rev. F. M. GARRETT, pastor, in charge. Burial will be at the Plymouth [Oakwood] cemetery. They body will lie in state at the McAuley and Son funeral home until the time of services.

MRS. GASTEIGER SERVICES HELD

Rites Held at First Methodist Church at Plymouth
Funeral services for Mrs. John GASTEIGER, 71, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles La ROE, 706 Jefferson avenue northwest, Wednesday afternoon following an illness of three months, were held at the First Methodist church at Plymouth Friday afternoon.

The Rev. F. M. GARRETT of Plymouth was in charge of services.

A prayer service was also held at the chapel of the McAuley and Son funeral home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, with the Rev. William GALBRETH, associate pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge.

Mrs. Sylvia PIERCE BOOTH sang "Sunrise," "The Last Mile of the Way," and "Face to Face." She was accompanied by Mrs. Frank PESHAK.

Pallbearers were Fran and Gilbert PESHAK, Truman BUTTS, Willis TOWNE and Lem and Charles ARMSTRONG. Burial was at the Plymouth [Oakwood] cemtery.
