ATTEND FUNERAL

A large delegation of junior college students headed by Dean S. L. RUGLAND together with Miss Eleanore HAZLETT and L. L. MINOR of the chemistry department, attended the Charles FROMM funeral at Plymouth, Thursday afternoon.

OUR TRIBUTE TO CHARLES FROMM, Jr.

For several years we have known Charles FROMM and have come in close touch with him in 4-H club work or in the home.

Charles exemplified the "I am here to help" motto, never trying to act important or show wisdom, but very content to remain in the background doing his job to the very best of his ability.

Charles was so mannerly, so quiet, so modest, yet so alert, so interested. When called upon for his opinion, he was always ready with something very definite, very concrete. Moreover, his ideas were always received by ready, willing listeners and thoughtfully weighed.

In his 13 months of college life, Charles had manifested an ever-punctual endeaver, a cheerful disposition, a quiet efficiency and an unselfish, loyal service to Mason City Junior college.

The whole college, both students and faculty, are thinking of Charles today. We say in unison, "We will not forget one who did so much for others."

L. L. MINOR

I shall remember Charles FROMM as a young man of bright promise, high ideals, and stalwart character. His industry and determination to succeed were admirable.

O. A. GEORGE

Charles FROMM was a friendly and happy student. He had just written his examinations, completing the first semester of his second year in our junior college. In the year and a half he had gained a large number of friends among the students and was held in very high regard by his instructors. His passing leaves a sense of loss to all of us.
