Wayne Klang funeral held

Funeral services for Wayne William KLANG, 37, former Mason City resident who died Sunday in Chicago, were held Thursday afternoon at the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth E. GOODBERRY, pastor of the Free Methodist Church, officiated.

Mrs. Leo WARNER was soloist, Miss Mildred FARRINGTON, organist. Mrs. Elmer FINCH and Mrs. Edgar REED were in charge of flowers. The Grandmothers Club attended the services in a group.

Pallbearers were Arthur GRAF, Donavan KLANG, Merlin KLANG, Howard CROWLEY, Donald McMURRAY and Gaylord BRATTRUD.

Military rites were conducted at Memorial Park Cemetery by the Veterans Memorial Association. Ivan BARNES served as commander, Harold BASINGER as chaplain. Others participating were Tom PETERSON, Charles BRUCE, Thomas BOYLE and Royce NELSON.
