R. J. Macket Service Held at Church

Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated Saturday for Robert J. MACKET, 56, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. J. BREEN, celebrant. Father John T. REED was decaonand Father Roger J. SULLIVAN, subdeacon.

Altar boys were Gerald SWEIGER, master of ceremonies, James LYNCH, thurifer. Acolytes were Gerald SCHOLL and Robert NIEDERMEYER. The Mass was sung by the Holy Family Catholic choir.

Honorary pallbearers were Peter HASAPOPOULOS, Ted COLLOTON, Elmer ZEIGLER, Ray LEE, RUdy FRITSCH, Ray WHORLEY and Francis BECK. Pallbearers were John LAUGHLIN, Frank SWED, Lloyd ROZEN, Victor GLASS, Oliver HANNA and C. J. MOTT.

Mrs. Oliver HANNA, Miss Helen HOGAN and Miss Harriet SCHMID were in charge of flowers.

Ushers at the Holy Family Church were J. B. WELSH and Vern RASMUSSEN. Car escorts and drivers were N. J. MORELAND, RObert J. CLAPSADDLE, Lloyd ROZEN, Don GASSAWAY and Francis BECK.

Military rites were conducted at the graveside at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Mike DEGEN was commander; W. V. CLAUSEN, Senior vice commander; Arnold D. TILTOn, Junior vice commander; Elmer ZEIGLER, chaplain; W. V. OSTBY, officer of the day.

The volley was by Tyler STEWART, Ben REYNOLDS, Wayne C. WILSON, Les ACKMANN, E. C. GORLEY, and Jack BYRNE.

Color guards were Reece R. HENDERSON, E. C. GORLEY, Les ACKMANN and Porter HUBBARD. Color bearers wre Mrs. Leland WILSON, Mrs. Clara Van NOTE, Charles DUNN, Arnold TILTOn, Pat CAHALAN, John BROWN, Billie REED, Behanrd H. REYNOLDS and Jack BYRNE and taps was by Frank FIALA.

Relatives attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. John LARSON, Mrs. Anna LARSON, Mrs. Joseph CABALKA, Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Frank DOMINY, Goodell; Mrs. Gladys TAYLOR, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. LuVern AVES, Waverly; Judge and Mrs. R. J. FRITCH, Garner; Mrs. Mable ROBINSON, and Donald W. CLARK, Clear Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Ray F. LEE, Spirit Lake, and Mrs. Leo SMITH, Belmond.

Interment was at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. The Patterson-James Mason City Chapel was in charge.
