MASON CITY — Charlotte Ann CLARK, 65, of 424 24th St. S.W., died Thursday (Nov. 27, 2003) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit after a brief but bitter struggle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 302 Fifth St. S.E. Interment will be in St. Joseph-Elmwood Cemetery, Mason City. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., with a scriptural wake service at 6:30 p.m.

Family suggests memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hospice of North Iowa.

Charlotte was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Mason City, the daughter of Charles F. "Jack" and Marie (BERNEMANN) CLARK. She went to St. Joseph's School where she graduated in 1956. She then attended Marquette University for one year and then went to Hamilton College, Mason City. Charlotte worked for Interstate Power for over 37 years, retiring due to her to health.

She is survived by one brother, Richard (Alice) of Dubuque; and three sisters, Marilyn (Abe) CIMIJOTTI of Ocala, Fla., Karen (Neil) GARLOCK of Burnsville, Minn., and Kathryn KNUTSON of Spring Lake Park, Minn.; along with many nieces, nephews and faithful aunts, Gen WALTERS and Florence BERGER. She is also survived by two dear and longtime friends, Sharon NEWMAN and Sandy HAWKINS.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Maynard KNUTSON.

The family is grateful to Dr. KIRSCH, Dr. THOMPSON, Dr. McCOMB and Dr. JOHNSON. The family also expresses it's gratitude to the nurses and staff at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
