Max was born Aug. 29, 2006, in Mason City, the son of Josiah and Elizabeth "Betsy" (ALCOCK) BUSHLACK. Max was a loving, gentle soul who liked to laugh and be cuddled in our arms. He rarely cried. He was a perfect baby boy in so many ways.

Max loved people and when he made eye contact, he shared his beautiful smile with everyone he met. He was deeply loved by his mom, dad and brother. He loved when his big brother held him and his face would light up every time he saw his brother, Syler. We take comfort in knowing that our perfect baby boy is in heaven with his perfect Heavenly Father. He will be deeply missed by us all.

He is survived by his parents, Josiah and Betsy BUSHLACK of Mason City; a brother, Syler, at home; maternal grandparents, Al and Cathy ALCOCK of Mason City; paternal grandparents, George and Judy BUSHLACK of Marion; maternal great-grandparents William and Marie HURMENCE of Mason City and Leland and Thelma ALCOCK of Waverly; paternal great-grandparents Victoria BUSHLACK of Waseca, Minn., and Carl I. JOHNSON of New Richland, Minn.; aunts and uncles Amanda FREESE and husband Eric of Cedar Rapids, Jody SLOAN and husband David of Cedar Rapids, Johanna FENTRESS and husband Bryan of Marion, Jeremy BUSHLACK and wife Loretta of Cedar Rapids and Johnse BUSHLACK and wife Lauren of Cedar Rapids; and ten loving cousins.

Max was preceded in death by his great uncle, David ALCOCK; and great-grandparents Evalonne JOHNSON and Norbert BUSHLACK.
