Obituary - Timothy W. "Tim" Hubbard

Timothy W. HUBBARD, 26 of 628 S. Carolina, Mason City died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd ST. SE. Mason City. Officiating will be the Rev. Kenneth GEHLING, Chaplain of Mercy Hospital. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral chapel and again one hour prior to services. Timothy will be cremated at Cremation Services of North Iowa following the services.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Timothy HUBBARD Memorial Fund. Thoughts, condolences and stories may be e-mailed to the family at the www.fullertonfh.com website.

A lunch for family and friends will be served following the services at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Tim was born on November 3, 1981 in Rockford, Illinois the son of David Wayne and Brenda (THOMPSON) HUBBARD. He attended school in Rockford, Illinois and then Mason City. For 3 ˝ years he worked in the tobacco fields in Kentucky and did construction work installing concrete foundations. While he lived with his adoptive mother Julie and her husband John STAFFORD of Vine Grove, KY.

He then moved back to Mason City and was a heavy equipment operator driving concrete trucks, while building the Avenue of the Saints. His last job was laying carpet and tile for the Flooring Gallery in Mason City.

He very much enjoyed fishing with his brother Jeffery, riding dirt bikes, hunting, and dancing at area clubs. His best friend who treated him like a brother, James HAUSER would join Tim in hanging out with friends and family, attending concerts, camping, and swimming at Big Blue. Tim will be remembers for his practical jokes and sense of humor.

Those left to remember include his mother Brenda GUSTAFSON and fiancé Clay TRYTTEN, Mason City; Julie and John STAFFORD, Vine Grove, KY; his son Nicholas Wayne HUBBARD, Charles City, his daughter Jasmin PETZOLDT, Mason City, his maternal grandmother Mary Lou THOMPSON, Mason City; paternal grandparents, Richard and his wife Sandy HUBBARD, and Karen HUBBARD all of Love's Park, Ill; five sisters: Nichole HUBBARD, Charles City; Christina and her husband Adrflo HERNADZE, Garret, KY; Johnna BIENEMAN, Vine Grove, KY; Patricia PARK, Brandburge, KY; Jamie THOMPSON, Garret, KY; two brothers David HUBBARD, Charles City; Jeffery JOHNSON, Lexington, KY; 4 uncles, and 3 aunts, and several nieces and nephews.

His father David who died in 1994 and his maternal grandfather George THOMPSON preceeded Tim in death.
