AUSTIN, Minn. — Carol R. FISHER, 55, of 206 First St., S.W., Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday (March 3, 2004) at Austin Medical Center.

Carol's body was cremated and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Mason City.

Memorials may be directed to the Mayo Clinic Foundation.

Carol was born on Aug. 17, 1948, to William and Olga (MOEN) FISHER in Mason City. She had an international upbringing and became fluent in many languages. She enjoyed reading, painting and making cards.

She is survived by her sister, Frances FISHER, of Pacific Palisades, Calif., and her brother, William Irving FISHER Jr., of El Segundo, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
