AUSTIN, Minn. — Sharon E. BRANDSOY, age 47, of Austin, Mower county, Minnesota, died Saturday (Nov. 20, 2004) at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin with the Rev. Kris WEE officiating. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Worlein Funeral Home, 1801 Fourth Street N.W. in Austin on Tuesday and one hour prior the service at the church.

Sharon was born on Jan. 10, 1957, the daughter of Herman A. and Ina S. (HOLLAND) LESTER in Forest City, Iowa. She was raised in the Woden area and graduated from Mason City High School. Sharon has lived in Austin, Minnesota, for the past 30 years.

On Nov. 4, 1978, Sharon married Dean BRANDSOY in Austin. She was a computer operator for Hormel Foods and a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, camping, and outdoor activities.

Survivors include her husband, Dean, of Austin; a daughter, Dena BRANDSOY of Fridley and her special friend, Ryan CARROLL; a son, Matt BRANDSOY of Austin and his special friend, Randi HEGNA; a sister, Judy OLTHOFF of Allison; two brothers: Dennis (Janis) LESTER of Clear Lake, and Don LESTER of Rudd; an uncle, Oscar SATRE of Austin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Larry.
