Rites Held for Chris Hansen

Clear Lake, Jan. 4 - Funeral services for Chris Hansen, were held Saturday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. H.O. Urness, pastor, officiating. Music for the services was furnished by Mrs. Ole Ashland, Jr., and Mrs. Carl Ashland who sang a duet, accompanied by Miss Genevieve Hansen. Nephews of Mr. Hansen serving as pallbearers were Arnot Hansen, Algona; Sophus Hansen, Charles Hansen, C.L. Hansen, Herman Hansen, all of Clear Lake, and Clarence Hansen, Mason City. Burial was at Clear Lake cemetery. Out of town relatives who arrived Friday are Mr. and Mrs. Axel Hansen, Akron, Ohio and Cora Myre, Des Moines. A number of Mason City persons also attended.

Surviving Mr. Hansen are his wife, daughter, Helen, who is employed at Mason City, and a son, Axel Hansen, Akron, Ohio, and a grandson, Donald Hansen, Akron. His sister, Mrs. Dora Hansen and brother, Claus Hansen, both of Clear Lake, also survive him.
