Obituary - Beth Marie Ward
Beth M. WARD, 47, of Mason City, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at her home in Mason City.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.
Should friends desire, memorials may be left to the family in Beth's name.
Beth Marie WARD was born on September 3, 1964 in Mason City, the daughter of Garvin and Eva (PULLIAM) WARD. She was raised in Mason City and attended Mason City High School, having graduated amongst the class of 1982.
Following high school Beth enlisted with the United States Army, she was very proud to have served her country like her father and brother before her and her younger brother who would follow. Upon her Honorable Discharge from the military, Beth lived in Corning, New York where she attended and graduated from Corning Community College class of 1989. She then worked as a paralegal and then at the Corning Glass Company.
Beth had a huge heart and was a caring person. She loved getting together with her family and spending time with her many nieces and nephews who also loved their Aunt Wilber. Beth also enjoyed shopping and she loved watching sports and cheering on her favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings.
Beth adored her three cats that were there to always keep her company and provide her with unconditional love.
Those grateful in sharing in her life are her sisters, Connie (Mike) FRICKE, Nora Springs, and Jean (Doug) WRIGHT, Osage; her brothers, Jim (Vickie) WARD, Fertile, and Jeff (Susan) WARD, Beloit, WI; her stepmother, Jan WARD, Mason City; her stepbrothers, Randy (Robin) LILL, Gresham, OR, and Brad LILL; Sussex, WI, and her nieces and nephews, Joshua (Holly) BROCHARDT and their children, Dillion and Mattie, Nora Springs, Elijah FRICKE, Nora Springs, Jonathan, Stephanie, and Emily WRIGHT, Osage, and Levi, Dalton, Schnaider, and Remy WARD Beloit, WI.
Preceding Beth in death are her parents, Garvin and Eva WARD; a special mother-in-law, Mary Beth HILL; her grandparents, Garwin WARD, Mary REED, and Rose FESSENDEN.
