Obituary - James E. Lane

Mason City - James E. LANE 79, of 1035 15th Street N.E., died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street N.E. Mason City. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Memorials may be directed to the James E. LANE Memorial in care of Lenore LANE.

James E. Lane was born February 20, 1931, in Earlville, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Mary (MUELLER) LANE. James served in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954; and was later honorably discharged. James was united in marriage to Lenore AIGNER on November 22, 1977. In James's free time he enjoyed bow hunting.

James is survived by his wife Lenore LANE, Mason City, step-son Louis AIGNER, grandson Cory AIGNER, all of Frankford, Illinois, granddaughter Kelly VENDERS, Hardenburg, Indiana.

James is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, three brothers and two step-sons, Leonard SCOTT and Brian AIGNER.
