NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Jonathan KENTER entered into rest Thursday (Aug. 19, 2004) at the age of 28 near his home in North Augusta, S.C.

Jon spent the early years of his life in Mason City, Iowa attending Harding Elementary and participating in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, learning to love and appreciate the outdoors.

He moved to North Augusta, S.C., where he graduated high school in 1994 and began working at Bridgestone/Firestone.

He is survived by his parents, David and Judy KENTNER, of Grovetown, Ga.; his sister, Julie KENTNER, of Grovetown, Ga.; and paternal grandmother, Jean KENTNER, of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; many aunts, great-aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Myrtle EWERS; and paternal grandfather, Edward KENTNER.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
