Frieda Kentner Watts dies at Long Beach

Mrs. Clarence R. (Frieda KENTNER) WATTS, a Mason Cityan for more than 20 years, deied unexpectedly Tuesday morning [June 30 1964] at Long Beach, Calif., according to work received in Mason City. Death was at a hospital following a sudden illness.

Funeral services were incimplete as of Wednesday morning. It was understood that services and burial would be in California.

Mrs. WATTS had been employed at Park Hospital here before the WATTSES moved to California on June 1. The California address is 137 Cedar Ave., Long Beach.

She was born May 24, 1914, at Parkersburg.

Surviving are her husdand, a daughter, Mrs. Richard COLLINS, LaPorte City; her mother, Lena HOODJER, Clarksville; two sisters, Grace SCHEIDECKER, Clarksville, and Maire BROCKA, Readly, and four brothers, Chris, Claude, George and Carl HOODJER, all of Clarksville.

Plans are being made for a prayer service at Clarksville the same time as the funeral in Long Beach.
