Mrs. John Udelhofen rites set

Funeral services for Mrs. John (Clara) UDELHOFEN, 75, who died Thursday at her home, 6 1st NW, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Major-Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Edwin COY, of the 7th Day Adventist Church, will officiate.

Mrs. UDELHOFEN was born May 15, 1866, near Lancaster, Wis., daughter of John and Isabel (TINDALL) SHANLEY. She attended school at Lancaster.

Surviving are two sons, Charles W. and Herbert UDELHOFEN, and a sister, Edith WATTS, all of Mason City, and three brothers, Clarence SHANLEY, Lancaster, Wis., Melvin SHANLEY, Madison, Wis., and Clint SHANLEY, Milwaukee, and five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1942, and by a sister, Minnie SHANLEY, and two brothers in infancy.

Mrs. UDELHOFEN had lived in Mason City more that 50 years. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. {Interment at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.]

NOTE: John Joseph UDELHOFEN was born August 14, 1875, Wisconsin, and died in 1942. Minnie Maria (SHANLEY) was born March 27, 1876, Grant Co. Wisconsin, and died August 1, 1927, Mason City. Charles W. UDELHOFEN was born November 6, 1907, Iowa, and died April 1, 1988, Mason City, Iowa. They were interred at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.
