March 8, 1900OWEN'S GROVE -- Died at his residence in Owen Township on Monday February 26, 1900, Daniel Melloy, age 62 years, born in Scotland and came to America at the age of 12 years. He came to Owen Township in 1866. Survived by his wife and four children; Archie, Duncan & Alexander and one daughter Mrs. Charles Elliott all living here. He was respected by all. Buried in Owen Cemetery. Rev. R. E. Robert of Owen Church officiated.
