James L.Hutzell

Mason City- James L. Hutzell, 37, 1412 S. Virgina Ave., died Friday (March 23, 1990) at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Delmar L. Jacobson officiating. Interment will be in the Osage Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hutzell was born April 18, 1952, at Osage to Donald and Ruth (Nodland) Hutzell. He was a 1973 graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College, where he received a degree in nursing. For the past 11 years he has served as Director of Nursing at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, of Mason City; one daughter, Darcie Hutzell, Mason City; one son Scott Hutzell, Mason City; three sisters, Mrs. Dean (Phyllis) Gunsallus, Osage, Shirley Darcy, Colorado, and Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Carter, Yankton, S.D.; three brothers, Don, Mason City, Curtis , of Georgia, and Ron, Topeka, Kan.; and his maternal grandmother, Ida During, Osage.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
