Peter Vincent DOUGHERTY, 99, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, in Central Community Hospital, Elkader, after a lengthy illness.

Services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m., St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Elkader, by the Rev. Paul PETERS. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader, where a Scripture service begins at 4:30 p.m.

Suvivors include his children: Jean FASSBINDER of Postville; Bernard of Owatonna, Minn.; Darlene DITTMER and Delores MANGAN, both of Elkader; Jerry of Famersburg; Janice HANSON of Cedar Rapids; Jeanette PRIDEAUX of Marion; Jim of Des Moines; and Patricia MINIHAN of Canton, S.D.

NOTE: Peter Vincent DOUGHERTY was born December 15, 1899, Dougherty, the son of James and Bridget (GORMAN) DOUGHERTY.
