DOUGHERTY -- Joseph DOUGHERTY, retired mail clerk, died Saturday [September 10, 1966] at Butte, Mont. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Butte.

He was the son of Daniel and Mary [(GALLAGHER)] and formerly lived in Dougherty.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine [(GLEASON)]; two daughters, Sr. Mary Emanuel, Helena, Mont.; Margaret DOUGHERTY, Butte; two sons, Daniel, Anchorage, Alaska; Hugh, Butte. He was preceded in death by a son, James, killed in World War II.

NOTE: PFC James E. DOUGHERTY, home town Silver Bow, Montana, U.S. Army, was killed in action, World War II.
