Funeral Services to Be Held Saturday Morning at St. Patrick's.

DOUGHERTY -- D. J. [Daniel Joseph] DOUGHERTY, 78, who was the son of Daniel and Mary [(GALLAGHER)] DOUGHERTY, founders of the town of Dougherty, died at 10:20 o'clock Wednesday evening [July 26, 1936] at his home here. He had been in poor health for the past year, suffering from a lingering illness.

Mr. DOUGHERTY, who was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., May 3, 1858, is survived by his wife [Mary Jane (MULLEN) DOUGHERTY] and children: Mrs. Leo [Cecelia R.] GEARY of Dougherty, Miss Luella of Mason City, Dan of Chicago, and Robert, Berniece and Edward of Dougherty; brothers, The Rev. E. J. DOUGHERTY of Waterloo, Joe of Butte, Mont., and John and Barney of Dougherty; and sisters, Mrs. Mary WADE of Chicago and Margaret and Theresa of Dougherty.

Funeral services will be conducted at St. Patrick's church here at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning. [Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dougherty.] The Rev. J. J. COLLINS will be in charge.
