Obituary - Sister Ladislas Kust, OP

Sister Ladislas KUST, OP, died Oct. 6, 2009. Professed in 1946, Sr. Ladislas ministered in the culinary arts at the following convents: Annunciation, Minneapolis; Sacred Heart, Rockwell, IA; Edgewood, Madison, WI; Corpus Christi, New York; St. Robert, Shorewood, WI; the Motherhouse, Sinsinawa, WI; SS. Faith, Hope, and Charity, Winnetka, IL; Immaculate Heart of Mary, Wausau, WI; St. Mary, Appleton, WI; and St. Patrick, Rockford, IL. She served as a teacher aide at St. Basil, Chicago; St. Thomas, Kenosha, WI; St. Mary, Appleton, WI, where she also served as librarian; St. Thomas Aquinas, Milwaukee, where she also served as librarian; St. Peter, Oshkosh, WI; and Encompass Child Care, Green Bay, WI. Sr. Ladislas ministered in Green Bay as pastoral/home care staff, as support staff at the YWCA Food Service/Day Camp, with the Brown County Association of Retarded Citizens, and as a volunteer.
