Mrs. ZOOK Dies After Illness
Rites Planned Saturday at M.E. Church;
Burial in Mt. Vernon.

CLEAR LAKE, June 14 -- Mrs. John ZOOK, 63, South Third street, died at a Mason City hospital late Wednesday afternoon after a major operation. he had been suffering from illness since August, 1933.

Funeral services for Mrs. ZOOK will be held at the Methodist church at 1:30 o'clock Saturday which will be preceded by short services at the home. Burial will be made at the Mt. Vernon cemetery south of Clear Lake. The Rev. F. W> RINER will officiate at the services.

Mr. and Mrs. ZOOK lived on farms in both Mt. Vernon and Union townships south of Clear lake for about 20 years, retiring and moving to Clear Lake about 10 years ago.

Mrs. ZOOK is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Chris ASHLAND, and two sons, Edwin and Clarence ZOOK, all of Clear Lake, and five grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Charles GARRICK of Austingville and Mrs. Grant ROBERTS of Hampton are expected to attend the funeral.

The body was taken to the Williams funeral home.
