Albert Lea, MN - Tuesday morning at 1 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. M.I. Card at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Bryon Winchell of Euclid streeet.

Mrs. Card, who was nearly 87 years of age, has been in failing health for several years. A little more than two years ago, she suffered a stroke and has been confined to her bed since then.

Miss Jane Elizabeth Hubbard was born Dec 20, 1840 near Cummington, Mass., She was married to Marcus I. Card Nov 21, 1861, and later moved to La Salle County, Ill. Several years later, the couple came to Iowa and resided in Mason City, and the vicinity until 11 years ago, when they came to Albert Lea, MN to make their home with their daughter.

Mr. Card passed away March 2, 1925. Two sons, Ward A and Glen H., died in early manhood. One son Homer R. Card, Mason City and an only daughter, Mrs. Winchell, remain. Also four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Thursday at the Winchell home. Burial will be made in the family lot in Elmwood Cemetery at Mason City.
