Thompson - Mrs. Berta Shropshire, 91, of 109 S Harding, Mason City, died Friday in a Mason City hospital. She was a former resident of Thompson and had been living with her sister in Mason City the last 9 years. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Thompson United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Thompson. Visitation was to be Sunday afternoon until Monday noon at Winter Funeral Home, Buffalo Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edna Myers, Mason City; three sons, Forrest, Cedar Rapids, Verne, Thompson, and Glenn, Clear Lake; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
