On Monday, July 21st, at 1 p. m., at Fulda, Minn., at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. David C. Palen, occurred the marriage of Chas. John Peterson of Mason City, and Miss Martha Palen, Rev. Mann, of the M. E. church, performing the ceremony. Miss Mollie Peterson of this city attended the bride: Lowell Palen, a brother of the bride, acting as best man. The newly married couple arrived in Calmar on the following evening, and are guests at Mr. Peterson’s parental home. At the conclusion of their visit here they will spend a week at Fulda, Minn., after which they will proceed to Mason City, where they will be at home to their friends after Sept. 1st. 1902. The best wishes of a host of friends will follow them to their future home.
