CARTERSVILLE- Mr. and Mrs. Clark Dougherty are on a wedding trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin following their marriage which took place in St. John's Catholic Church June 26, the Rev. Joseph Murphy, brother of the bride performing the double ring ceremony.

The bride was Miss Maurice Murphy, daughter of Mrs. Rose Murphy, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Dougherty.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Walter Murphy and was attended by the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Harold Knoll, as maid of honor. Miss Patricia Fethgetter of Waverly was bridesmaid. Vincent Murphy, brother of the bride, Ambrose Rooney, cousin of the bride, Richard Geary and Melvin Kelly.
Marilyn Gallaher was soloist.
A wedding dinner was served at the bride's home to 65 guests.

Both are graduates of St. Patrick's school and the bridegroom spent 4 years in the army as a staff sergeant.
