Two North Iowans who have enlisted in the naval reserve for flight training are Edward Charles SERNETT, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Frank SERNETT, 811 Jefferson avenue northwest, and Lloyd Francis WOODHOUSE, son of Frank WOODHOUSE of Plymouth. They will report to duty at the pre-flight training school in Iowa City in August for their preliminary training. SERNETT attended Mason City high school and junior college and WOODHOUSE attended Mason City junior college, where he took part in football and basketball, and Central college, Pella.

To all whom it may concern: You are hereby notified, that an instrument of writting purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Lloyd Francis WOODHOUSE, Deceased, dated January 24th, 1944, having this day filed, opened and read, Monday the 18th day of July, 1945, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Mason City, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 2 o'clock P. M., of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause, if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.Dated at Mason City, Iowa, June 17th, 1946.
