It was a big stretch for the Mason City defense man when Bob WIDGER, 6 foot, 7 inch Clear Lake forward, went up in the air in the Class A final game, but Jack SHIPLEY protected the basket here as the giant reached for the ceiling. From let to right in the background are Henry "Hun" HERT, Bill MURPHY of Clear Lake, Wayne WOOD, Eldon LEINS of Clear Lake, and Howard STOECKER. In the smaller picture, Lloyd WOODHOUSE scores for Plymouth as he beats Johnny WILKINSON to the jump.
