EXCHANGE WEDDING VOWS

Miss Elaine WATTS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. WATTS, 911 Harrison N.W., and Allen PITKIN, son of Mrs. W. B. STEVENS, north of Mason City, were married at a candlelight ceremony performed Saturday evening at 8 o'clock in the First Christian church. The Rev. George O. MARSH officiated and muptial music was provided by Mrs. Helen DUNN, organist.

Pink and white peonies, palms and candelabra decorated the church for the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and her attendents were hercousins, Mrs. Leonel FAGERLE, matron of honor, Miss Lois NEEDHAM, Miss Betty LESTER and Miss Beverly WILKIE of Alden, bridesmaids. Marian GALLOGLY, another cousin, was the flower girl and Roger WATTS, brother of the bride, ringbearer.

Mr. FAGERLE was the best man and the ushers were Jerry NEEDHAM, Gene GALLOGLY and Bob WATTS.

The bride wore a white borcaded satin gown with a long train, a fingertip length veil held with orange blossoms and carried a colonial bouquet of white rosebuds. Mrs. FAGERLE wore pink net and the bridesmaids were gowned in blue. All had colonial bouquets. The flower girl wore a floor length blue frock.

The mother of the bride was gowned in pink with white accessories and the mother of the bridegroom, in blue. Both had pastel colored corsages.

A reception in the church parlors followed the exchange of vows. Members of the bridal party and relatives were guests. Garden flowers decorated the room and a 3-tier wedding cake topped by a miniature bride and bridegroom, centered the table. Mrs. George MARSH and Mrs. Neil GARRISON poured. Assisting with the serving were Mmes. Ray CRISPEN, Frank O'HEARN, Ira LEAMAN, Seymour ANGELL, Ted OLSON, Percy COLLINS, Newton STRAW and Ivan BARNES.

During the reception, Mr. ANGELL, accompanied by Mrs. DUNN sang "O Promise Me" and "Lassie O'Mine."

For going away, the bride chose a rose-colored 2-piece suit with white accessories.

Following a trip, the couple will be at home in Moline, Ill. The bridegroom has recently received his discharge from the U.S. army after service in England. The bride is a graduate of the Mason City high school.
