Mrs. E.H. Bates dies at 99

Iowa lost an old resident last month, in the death of Mrs. E.H. Bates of Clear Lake. She was 99 years of age, and would have observed her 100th birthday in May. Mrs. Bates had been a resident of clear Lake for 81 years.
