Donald Sapp, Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame, 2007

Don Sapp has been involved in helping with 4-H youth in Cerro Gordo County since 1984. He is currently the co-chair of the Cerro Gordo Youth Committee and has served on the committee for 7 years. Don has worked with the Cerro Gordo Horse program for 23 years and has been involved with the fair for over 20 years. In addition, Don has served on the North Iowa Fair board for seven years and is currently the president. He serves as a board member of the Northwood State Bank which is a great partner of 4-H in North Iowa.
Don says “I have always enjoyed working with youth and find it rewarding. Our youth are the future of everything.”

“Don is my go-to person on our Youth Committee and the Fair Board” says Paul Fitzgerald, Extension Director. “I can rely on him to be fair and efficient.”
