G. Norman Clark

G. Norman CLARK -- Member of Board of Control of state institutions. Born January 1, 1875, on a farm in Grundy county, Iowa, near Parkersburg, to which town he moved with his parents in 1883. Attended the public school in Parkersburg and after finishing was engaged in the retail drug business for eighteen years. in 1910 moved to Mason City, Iowa, and engaged in real estate business and the operation of farm lands, which vocation has been followed successfully for the past seventeen year. A democrat in politics. Appointed member of board of control by Governor HAMMILL for six-year term, to succeed John B. BUTLER, retiring member.
