Looking for the parents of Arthur D. FOWLIE born Scotland 1832 married Elspet THOMPSON died 1905 Red Oak IA, buried Red Oak Cemetery, as is Elspet (1839 or 1841-1905). Arthur appears in the History of Cedar County, Iowa 1878: Fowlie, Arthur, farmer, Section 14; Post Office Tipton. Parents could be George FOWLIE and Margaret CANTLY or John FOWLIE and Elizabeth or Beatrice/Betty REID, all Aberdeenshire. Arthur and Elspet's children John Chappell FOWLIE born 28 May 1873 and George Arthur FOWLIE born 26 June 1879 both Tipton, IA. Thank you for your help.
