My daughter Rita asked me if I knew any Reeder's from Tipton since this
is my hometown. I was born there on a farm in 1933 and graduated from
Tipton HS May 1951. One of my classmates and best friend at the time was
Wayne A. Reeder whose parents were Donald and Ethel Reeder. Wayne has
one brother Dick and I believe their parents are deceased. In any case,
the Reeder's farmed near the Sand Hill Cemetary northwest of town. Wayne
always told me that there were a lot of Reeder relatives buried there
and since I have an ancester buried there also, we have visited the cem.
and have gone to the courthouse to research records of who was buried
there. My daughter dug out the info last night and sure enough, there is
a FG Reeder buried there. Now, I'm not sure how Wayne is related to FG,
but I do believe they are related.
If you'd like, I'll contact Wayne who lives in Colorado and proceed from
there.
