Checking the 1850 census in Eaton, Wyoming, PA. I found a John Jenkins and an H.H. Jenkins. Checking the 1840 census, there wasn't a Wyoming County. I'm not sure exactly what year Wyoming County was formed. I don't have an index of names for these census years and need a specific town and county to search for George Jenkins. (let me know if you find that info.) Land records and wills would also include his childrens names. Of course you would have to know in which county he resided.
