Diane, In 1860 Durant, Cedar co., Ia., there is a 55 y/o Dan Clark. But his wife is Mary. Both born Ct. children in the h/h, all born Ct. are Elbert 21, female Francis 19, Henry 13, & Adrian 10. Also on the same page is a William W. & Mary Clark, both 26 born Ct. and a daugh. Mary F. 2, Ia. Also, as an fyi,the town of Durant is on the border of 3 counties, Cedar, Muscatine & Scott. So future research could have you looking in any of these counties. Dick
