Any information regarding descendants of Henry H
Phelps, Civil War soldier died 1863 in St Louis hospital after falling from ammunition wagon moving camp. Left several children who were sent to Soldier's Orphans' Home in Davenport, IA.
Would greatly appreciate any information of living descendants who would be related to our family (George Phelps was his son who married my husband's mother's aunt Berthemia Fairchild.
ANY information, particularly a picture of Henry H Phelps would be greatly appreciated.
