Henning D.A. Thiessen b 1820, Reinsbuttel, S-H. Son of Claus and Wiebke Thiessen. Died 1902, Durant, Cedar Co. Iowa. Marr. 1845 to Marg. Elis. Ehlers. Daughter of Heinrich
Wilhelm Ehlers and Anna Margaretha Koch. Children:Claus Hinrich, Jacob Wilhelm, August Theodor, Wiebke Margaretha, Marie Auguste,Johanna Mathilda,Hinrich Theodor, Emma, and Paulina/Tina. Immigrated in 1854
