Ellen - I'm wondering if when you searched for William Neely and Margry Moffitt in Cedar County, IA if you ran across a William D. Neely, b. 1809 in PA, and his wife Henrieta Searl, or his second wife Sarah Peck? I'm not sure if there is a connection between the two William Neelys as it appears your Lucinda's parents were from Ireland, and the William D. Neely I'm looking for was born in PA, and then married in OH, and moved to IL in the mid 1830s, and then to Cedar Co. IA sometime before 1840. But I'm not sure where William D. Neely's family came from originally. Thanks, dorrie
