Adam Vettel marriage record

VETTEL, SEEGER, SEAGER, FADLE

Hi, I am trying to find a marriage record for a Catherine/Katherina Seegar/Seeger/Seghar b 1831 in Germany and an Adam M Vettel/ Vetel/Fadle b in 1828 also in Germany. They were both in the Illinois census, Adam in Logan Co. and Catherine in Sangamon Co. There is no record of a marriage in IL. and their oldest son was born in Iowa in 1853 or 54 and possibly the next son in 1856. I found a Seeger family living in Cedar Co and was hoping to connect her with them.
