Hi Carol, You have to find your folks on census records first so you can best assess how to pursue searching for other records.The 1900 household for Preston & Lena Blair indicate young WILLIAN (as indexed on Ancestry) F. Blair was born in Sept. 1899. Finding these census records often answer the questions you may have. Preston's father William lives with them also. This is in Inland twp, Cedar co. NARA film pg 127B. Not saying the lad's enumerated birth date is correct, only that that's how he was enumerated in 1900. Dick
