William Floyd Blair

PAULINE MARIE DUVALL, born 6 June 1899 in Beardstown, Cass County, IL married William Floyd Blair 2 June 1926 in Bennett. Pauline's family name was "Bill".

William, born in 1893 (no date), was the son of William Preston and Lena Grafing (sp?) Blair, all of Bennett.

William and Pauline lived in Bennett and owned a hardware store. William was mayor for 18 yrs and school board president for 9 yers. They had dtr Joan, and sons Bill and Tom.

They moved to Colorado Spgs, El Paso County, CO in 1948 and purchased the Cadillac Motel. They sold that and owned the gift shop at 7 Falls.

William died 6 September 1954; and Pauline on 19 December 1968. They are buried in Inland Cemetery with their son Bill, Pauline's parents, John Frederick "Tom" and Katherine Hansmeyer Duvall and Pauline's spinster sister, Henrietta aka "Hank". [See John Frederick Duvall on Cedar County Bio page)

Can anyone give me a birthdate for William Floyd and provide info about his parents???
