Funeral services for Sarah Frances Bromell, 63, Tipton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1993 at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, with the Rev. David Lorenzen officiating. Pallbearers are Joe Hokenshell, Bill Laughlin, Tom Hartwig, Rick Williams, Allan Williams and David Williams. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Bromell died Dec. 25 at University hospitals in Iowa City, following a lingering illness.

The daughter of Walter and Lydia Bock Williams, she was born Oct. 1, 1930 in Cedar county. She attended the Tipton Consolidated schools. She married Joseph "Junior" Bromell July 3, 1962 in Tipton.

Mrs. Bromell attended the Tipton Presbyterian church. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Minute Cafe and Louis Rich.

She is survived by 2 brothers, Alfred Williams, Tipton and Herbert Williams, Rock Island, Ill.; a brother-in-law, Grover Ahrens, Davenport; and 3 sisters-in-law, Bueta Williams, Tipton; Irene Williams, West Branch and Verlee Bromell, West Liberty. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 11 brothers and sisters.
