Funeral services for Mary Jane Mullan, 74, Mechanicsville, were held Dec. 27, 1993 at the Mechanicsville Presbyterian church, with private graveside services at the Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Mullan died Dec. 23 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids of acute leukemia.

The daughter of Albro and Rose Meyers Kohl, she was born April 7, 1919 in Mechanicsville. She graduated from Mechanicsville high school in 1936 and Mercy School of Nursing in Cedar Rapids in 1939. She married Robert Mullan in 1942. He died July 27, 1984.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Presbyterian Women, served on the Parish Council and taught Sunday school.

Mrs. Mullan is survived by 5 sons, Steve, Cedar Rapids; Jon, Mike and Mark, all of Mechanicsville; and Pat, Stanwood; and 5 grandsons.
