Funeral services for Donna J. Nash, 64, Springdale, were held Dec. 14, 1993 at the Springdale United Methodist church, with the Rev. Richard M. Paulus officiating. Mrs. Amy Garlock was the organist and a piano selection was played by Amanda Nash. Pallbearers were Mark McCoy, Phillip McCoy, Matthew McCoy, Jim Morgan, Rick Mayhew and Mike Mayhew. Burial was in the Pee Dee cemetery, east of Springdale.
Mrs. Nash died Dec. 11 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a short illness.
The daughter of Victor and Helen Howe Gaul, she was born Jan. 13, 1929 in Tipton. She graduated from Tipton high school in 1948. She married Mark Nash Nov. 28, 1947 in Nashua.
Mrs. Nash was a member of the Springdale United Methodist church and the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Rene Lindberg, Iowa City; 4 sons, Michael, Sioux City; and Steve, Curt and Criag, all of West Branch; 2 sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Harmet, Hinsdale, Ill. and Mrs. Joyce Moore, Mechanicsville; her mother, Helen Gaul, Tipton; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
