Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd (Deloris "Dee") Owens, 64, were held at St. Paul's Catholic church, Colorado Springs, Colo. Nov. 16 with the Rev. Jerry Borer officiating. Burial was in Fort Logan National cemetery, Denver.
Mrs. Owens died at her home in Colorado Springs Nov. 11.
The daughter of Joseph F. and Nellie Preston Clements, she was born at Mechanicsville June 28, 1923. She graduated from Tipton high school in 1941. She married Floyd E. Owens in Tipton Feb. 13, 1943, he died in 1984. She had lived in Colorado Springs for 24 years, where she was a sale representative for Avon Cosmetics.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church and St. Mary's Booster club.
She is survived by a son, Tom, Oceanside, Calif.; 2 daughters, Sharisse Owens and Mary Jo Rosazza, both of Colorado Springs; 2 brothers, Al Clements, Tipton and Manuel Clements, Springville; 2 sisters, Mary Louise Williams, West Branch and Theresa Pelzer, Tipton and 7 grandchildren.
