Last rites for Mrs. Martin (Alma A.) Kipp, 75, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church Nov. 17 with the Rev. Joseph P. Hines officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Pallbearers were Leo Miller, Maurice Miller, Lloyd Meyer, Jack Ward, Walter Droll and Russ Wethington. Dr. James Bell was vocalist and Kathy Schott organist. The Rosary was held at Sheets & Son Funeral home Nov. 16.
Mrs. Kipp died at Cedar Manor Nov. 13.
The daughter of Albert and Rose Broulik Zajicek, she was born at Solon March 10, 1912. She graduated from Tipton high school in 1931. She taught in the rural schools for 3 years. She was married to Martin H. Kipp in Tipton Oct. 30, 1934.
She was a cook in the Tipton Community school for 23 years. A life resident of the Tipton area, she was a member of St. Mary's church and St. Mary's Guild.
She is survived by her husband; a son, James, Cedar Rapids; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Charlene) Garrison, Clinton; Mrs. Jerry (Frances) Juhlin, Mason City; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Eleanor) Machart, Prairiesburg and 3 brothers, Francis Zajicek, Tucson, Ariz.; Leo Zajicek, Seattle, Wash. and Clarence Zajicek, Audubon. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a granddaughter.
