Funeral services for Mrs. Martha E. (Marty) Conrad, 75, Lowden, were held June 6 at Zion United Church of Christ in Lowden, the Rev. Paul Jordan officiated. Mrs. Conrad died June 3 at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Leona Helmold was organist and the mixed quarter of William Norton, James Lafrenz, Mrs. James Kruckenberg and Mrs. Elon Miller sang. Pallbearers were Kenneth Richmann, Roland Buck, Kent Strackbein, Elmer Stolte, William Stout and Herb Freese. Burial was in the Lowden cemetery.

Mrs. Conrad was born Dec. 11, 1909 at Lowden, the daughter of Charles and Alma Platte Richmann. She married Edward Conrad May 15, 1932 at Lowden. He died July 2, 1980. She was a member of Zion Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Carol) Spies of Richmond, Ind.; one son, Tom of Auburn, Calif.; 4 grandchildren and one great-grandson, one brother, Hugo Richmann of Indianatlantic, Fla. a nephew, David Conrad of Lowden; a niece, Dinae Malottki of Des Moines and other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and 2 sisters.
